I stayed for 3 nights and each morning we would have our morning conversations. I must say the front desk staff - KRISDA AND LAURA are the MOST FRIENDLIEST staff I have ever met! I am serious! They are amazing and funny! They made me feel like I am at home. I travel a lot for business and have stayed at many many hotels. ![]() Caution: Avoid Room 111! Fortunately the receptionist cheerfully switched me to a quieter room with a functional TV. However, the coup de gras was the unwelcome "wake-up call" at 5:50 am which came in the form of a constant thump, thump, thump from an eager beaver on the treadmill, which I soon discovered was butted directly against the other side of my wall in the adjacent fitness center. Also, no toilet paper on the roll, although there was a backup roll in the B-room, and the TV did not work. ![]() Also, housekeeping could pay more attention to detail: my room was about 80F upon arrival with heater cracked to the max (so much for energy conservation). A colleague of mine in another room simply froze through the night. ![]() Cons: Older facility with those obnoxious heater/AC wall units which wail loudly, spewing alternating blasts of Hudson Bay cold and Mohave Desert heat. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, close proximity to National Airport, free airport shuttle, nice breakfast buffet included in price. Price was better than neighboring hotels but still cost $240/night after all the taxes. Stayed here two nights for a business meeting nearby.
